Genital Herpes is caused through the HSV (Herpes Simplex Virus). HSV is very infectious virus. In fact, HSV is transferred from one person to another person by direct contact of skin to another’s skin like during the oral sex, vaginal sex or during the anal sex. HSV is present on the skin surface; in fact, it will transfer very easily by the moist skins, which line your genitals, anus, and mouth. There are two types of HSV which can cause genital Herpes.

Types of HSV


HSV 1 – It generally causes the cold sores or fever blister in the area of your mouth. It is generally transformed at a genital area at a time of oral sex. Repetition of this virus is less frequent than HSV -2 infections.
HSV 2 – It generally causes genital herpes. A virus is spread by sexual contact and also due to contact of skin with another skin. This is very common and also highly infectious, doesn’t matter you have an open sore.
